Elfie

elfie is our first fostered dog.
his story is :
we had wanted to foster another dog called indy ( an ebony pup )

so sis had asked terrence about her but someone has already helped foster, so terrence asked sis if we could take in a jack russel terrier, named elfie. terrence warned us that elfie is a very barky dog and really he is.

i forgot when, we took elfie over from terrence, elfie was not very nice smelling or something so we bathed him. and let him air and enjoy the breeze. prince was not home, i brought him out. so when i brought prince home, he seems a little surprised? they did not really care about each other.. at least elfie did not.. so we tried putting them together, they were alright at first but elfie did not really like prince so we took prince out. and decides they can't stay together.

so elfie stayed in my sis's, bro's and my room, and prince the other parts. things was well. elfie barks A LOTS night and day, even more if there is other people in the house. elfie isn't those that likes men, so he did not like my brother at first but was fine after awhile. he pulls on the leash and is quite strong, the only trouble with the two dogs is that they cannot walk to together so we can only walk one at a time.. but luckily we were on holiday and sis is home to help me. =]

one day, someone called to say she wants to try elfie, terrence agreed so we let her. so at night, she and her friends came to take elfie. my dad's and my first impression on her wasn't good, she smokes, and looks 'ah lian' but i can't say no since she is already there.. she kept telling me she will be fine and she had experence in dogs. but all went wrong..

after a few days.. not very long.. maybe only a day or two.. she messaged and said she does not want elfie, she can't hander him. i was at my friend's house so i asked my friend, D, if she could fetch me to the person's house to get elfie and she agreed to help. ( thanks! =] ) when we reached, I saw the person and she saw me too so we walked over to meet them. D then saw one of her friend holding a cane, and impressions went even worst. so they passed the things over and after a while if chat, D send me home.

( some other occasion, i was with my friend viewing puppies lokoing for home and we , D and I saw the person again. D quickily told the owner about the cane and some other things so the owner told the person she won't be letting them adopt her pups. )

things went fine/well and it was time for elfie to go back to his original fosterer and our story ends. elfie is still up for adoption, if i'm not wrong.. you can find his contact and others on ASD's web. =]

ELFIE IS STILL UP FOR ADOPTION. ( it will be better if you have had a dog before and don't mind TONS of barks or hopefully train him. =] )
